Coronavirus (COVID-19) While museums are closed, the Ralph Steadman prints site is fully operational and we have added an FAQ page here.

I Leonardo was first published in 1983 and stands as one of Steadman’s richest, visual texts. Many of the images were drawn when Steadman fractured his leg and was in plaster for 6 months, confined to sketching with a board across his knee in the family lounge. Steadman’s body may have been tethered but it allowed his mind to fly and produced a text full of both biographical fact and comedic fiction of the life of one of Steadman’s most influential heroes.
